Yeah, the new scan of Kenpachi looks better. There seems to be still people who think it could be better, so see if you can find anything in the scan gallery here or maybe at minitokyo.net. You could vector it, but I don't know much about that, so I can't really help you there.

Hmmm... Actually, I'm not quite good in photoshop too.. Especially the colouring part... But I'm sure that i stumbled upon a setting which you can turn off the blue and green colour of the scan which leaves you zaraki in red. Try googling... i'm sure that there are a lot of tutorials out there to help you... Sorry that I can't help you much. I'm a begginner too.. My skills might be sulker than yours.. The scan itself is nice... You can try using the scan without doing much change to the scan.
